Chance is a journalist who earned his bachelor's and master’s degrees from the Department of Journalism and Media Communications at Colorado State University. He's the founder and producer of Punk Journalism. He's been published in several publications covering feature stories within the Denver area, as well as editorials on controversial subjects like mental health and LGBTQ issues. He works as a Public Affairs Specialist for the Colorado Air National Guard, enacting community engagement and keeping the public informed about the organization’s events, programs and other newsworthy topics.
Chance is an avid reader, enjoys snowboarding, skateboarding, riding his motorcycle, going to concerts, nerding out at comic conventions and playing with his dog, Banjo. He has a broad array of musical tastes, and would someday like to rediscover his passion for guitar which he had before becoming distracted with being an adult. He loves to travel, experiencing different cultures and food.
Spending most of his twenties in college, and his 30’s working full time for the military directly inspired him to gain a keen observation for the lowest common denominator via these very conflicting environments. Although he strives to rise above the lowest common denominator, Chance loves Pizza Hut and daytime talk shows like Jerry Springer.
